Roko Simic & Kion Etete

Having started pre-season training with the U21s, Roko Simic is now training with the First Team.

Kion Etete remains training with the U21s, ahead of a loan move.

This is interesting.

Can this mean BBM wants to take a closer look at Simic in the first team because he might see something in him?

Alternatively, this might mean BBM has been told he will be given no funds to bring another striker in, so he has no choice but to take a look at Simic.

I'm fearing it could be the latter.

We've been told on here many times that the manager is being fully backed by the owner.

We'll see what that backing amounts to by the end of this month.

Simic made a complaint as from his point of view he’s contracted as a first team player and wants to train with the first team so that’s the reason why he’s now training with the first team

From what I have seen of BBM in the last year,if he wants Simic to train with the U21's then that's where he'll train!!

Agreed, no way would he just accept someone in 1st team for complaining. They’d need to earn their place

As for requesting to train with the 1st team I am unsure if a player can demand that? If so, a lot of players in Prem-L2 will be going to their managers to ask the same

I actually have always felt the same about this guy.

I don’t know him as a player but hopefully BBM is looking at him closely during training and uncovers a gem!

Dream mode but you never know!

Hopefully we can get them both off the books permanently . Neither are good enough for league one not alone the championship .

I agree with Wes, he was never really given much of a chance. I think he thought he was brought to Cardiff under false pretences after being shipped out to tans other club. Just maybe he’s had words with BBM and got over his resentment and wants to start playing proper again.

We know strikers are not cheap .

Let's make sure our young talent are not the answer before spanking 10 million on a Danish flop.

Most strikers are well over valued ..
