Tickets sales for Wrexham game seem to be going pretty sharpish.. could be 30k for this one

I see they've started selling tickets in Upper Ninian.

They’ve opened the red middle seats haven’t opened the top blocks of it yet,but I’d imagine they will soon if they keep selling loads of tickets

Just looked at it again and you're right, must have looked at the stadium plan wrong earlier

Where have all these extra sales come from? Bet they not there for the other home games, unfortunately most are there to see the Hollywood stars, not reason they should be there. Much rather the last season average be there of proper city fans like us.
I find it quite embarrassing.

I agree to a certain extent same as last years chelsea game, i avoided it on purpose ,
but I do think after promotion there are a lot of fans coming back and after the dreadful earlier seasons we are finally getting it together a bit like the warnock years a bit of belief.
The test will be the next home game ,but this is a tasty tie no doubt about it for a first game welsh rivals under the lights ,Holywood esq.

Of course this game gathers more interest than probably most other games except the scum. I wouldn’t expect any difference.

First game of a new season, recently promoted with a feel good factor, Welsh derby, summer time, not played a league match since 2002.

As a club, our fans, are no different from any others.

Look at smaller clubs with something like 20k supporters, they get to a league cup or FA cup final and all of a sudden they have 50 or 60 thousand fans.

It’s normal and I personally welcome all that come and watch and hopefully we’ll keep quite a few ‘floaters’

Because instead of fans arriving at their seats, especially in the Canton end, a few minutes before kick off the whole ground was full and rocking before the players even came out. Created a great atmosphere and of course we went on to win.

That’s what we need in my opinion to set the tone.

I did watch the game when I came home after my op ,I just hope we are going to be in the right state of mind for this wrexham game ,and as its on tv the rest of the uk will be watching this game,
we need a message to be sent to all the championship teams that we are not just here to make up the numbers.

Central hotel for us got it cheap! Hopefully trains be ok this time? Got caught up in Saturday's fiasco after roma..... got yo station for 5.46 train ended up getting home exactly midnight! Let the train take strain?

Add at least 4k for walk up crowd as thats average for games....

I agree with what you say about getting fans in early, but in the concourse these days in the canton they have a local band and the fans sing there heads in there before they get in the stadium they are all in by the start of the game, I will try and pull the plug on the band before wrexham game. HAha
