Choo, if things are to be believed, has zero negotiating skills when it comes to football.
This week will be key. Will we get signings, and will BBM have had significant input into their arrival.
I am hoping weve learnt lessons, but one good season and the junta seem to think they are miracle workers....

So who is going to bring in our 5 players we need.
Looks like we have lost our main Norwegian target to replace wintle.
I did say last week I would have thought just what bbm said, he is concentrating on the team not tied up with transfer deals
But that begs the question who is.?
I hope it's not the usual.

Let's hope the deboys knows his stuff and is not wet behind the ears he has a very important job to do,
and if choo was involved with the Norwegian guy we did not have much going for us.

Executive stuff should be getting contracts sorted getting players is not down to the committee think that's obvious if take what bbm says as true... got to remember no club would go for player if price is to high no matter what bbm wants (unless truly worth it ) if got new recruiter can only assume he knows what he's doing and won't recommend if price is to high either

Who were Clueless.
For the first time in years Our Own Manager BBM and his own group are the ones making the decisions on the players. BUT of course as long as it’s not Costing Our Hierarchy much as it’s a low Budget for The Championship.

Allan it's not my money it's tans so not bothered if we pay silly money,
rather than looking in bargain basement.

I don't know where you've got it into your head that it'll be "bargain basement". We bid £6.2m for Hjerto-Dahl and it looks like we're signing Moylan for £2m.
Also we spent a fee plus wages on Osho and Trott, as well as the wages for loan players.
There is nothing to suggest we're doing it on the cheap this season. Signings will come (a couple this week apparently) and as I've said, if we have to wait until the end of the window to get the right players then so be it. The season doesn't end after the Wrexham game.
I much prefer this to what the club did before this manager and sign a whole load of free transfers every summer that we struggle to move on.

Blimey, I agree with you.

montyblue wrote:Ned it was a general statement these days transfer fees 1 million is bargain basement when west ham recently sold to spurs a player 85 million ,yes 6.5 million is more in the region of a fair price in today's market but when did we last offer that sort of money, and what I was getting at is why do fans worry if tan wants to spend 10 million on a player it's not my money and I am glad he tan realises that you have to pay the higher price to get your man, and a bidding war with other clubs is the norm sadly.
