I think it ends the FIFA proposal.
You'd have a situation where the World Cup holders wouldn't be competing in the World Cup, neither would three of the four semi finalists or two of the hosts for the next tournament.
Also would stop Premier League, La Liga, Ligue 1, Bundesliga and Serie A clubs competing in the Club World Cup.

Europe's got all the power. If UEFA pulled out of the WC the Euros would instantly be the biggest competition in the world not the World Cup

They certainly would but that doesn't mean they have all the power otherwise he would have been ousted or someone would stand against him yet here he is still in charge & all he's seeing is the money that will flow into his pockets, which does weird things to some people & he's more corrupt than your average person. FIFA itself could go on without the major teams if the smaller nations decide that the money on offer is too much to walk away from & where would that leave us as a small nation?
All I'm saying is that he thinks he is bigger than football & I'm not sure that he's going to back down as easily as people think. And if he doesn't where does world football go next? Not the Euros but world football in general. A total break away organization for everyone or does Europe & European teams stay on their own & just play amongst themselves for ever?
I'm not at all arguing for his ideas because he's an idiot but you seem to want to dismiss the rest of the world just because Europe has the better teams but that's not how the rest of the world (Africa & Asia in particular) see things, they think he's wonderful.

The truth is the organisation itself is rotten. The voting system is insane 1 vote per nation regardless of their actual standing in world football, it's far to open to brown envelope stuff, it's why this proposal has opened with a bribe.
I think your missing the point the money on offer does not exist if you take Europe away the major teams drive the revenue. Do you think a bunch of US investors are going to pump money into a tournament with the vast majority of the best teams missing.
Africa and Asia love him as he's delivered them money and for Asia in particular two hosting spots they never should have received. I'm not bothered what a bunch of corrupt dictatorships think should happen we've had quite enough of that.
What I'd like to see happen a second Euro's and go from there I'm sure it would morph into another World Cup eventually. Is any of this likely now? No. He's going to back down very quickly
