Kellyman has now travelled to Australia with Xabi Alonso's squad ( Chelsea ) after Geovany Quenda suffered an injury, opening up a place on the tour.
The development does not necessarily rule out another loan move this summer, but it is a notable change from Chelsea's original plans and could delay any decision over his future.
Cardiff remain admirers after Kellyman's outstanding campaign in blue, while Barry-Murphy and assistant Lee Riley both have strong links with Chelsea recruitment chief Joe Shields from their time together in Manchester City's academy.

Can see them waiting until the last week of the window to loan him out. That's what Premier League clubs tend to with some players - and exactly what happened with Kellyman last summer.

It makes sense that Alonso wants to look at all the players he has at his disposal, and Omari Kellyman is one of those seen as having a bright future
The injury to Quenda certainly delays any decision to loan him (Kellyman) back out, and it’s great for him to be part of the travelling Chelski squad
This is OUR club, not Vincent Tan’s! He is a temporary custodian and will be judged on the state he leaves us in when he leaves!

I agree mate. I think we’ll have him a week before the Wrexham game

Don’t think he’s coming back, lost the Maresca link from Chelsea so should probably start sniffing around Man City’s young players instead

He was a half time sub today but taken off after 63 mins. Not sure if he was injured. He had a shot on target in that time.

Apparently no injury sounds like coach made a mistake bringing him on for 20mins !
Could be good news for us

The good thing is that there won't be a lack of players going out on loan of the same or higher quality at the end of the window.
Wouldn't get too worried if he doesn't come back; there will be others available.

Never fall in love with a loan player; they rarely return....
Does he even fit BBM's style? The statos will prove me wrong, but even during Rubin's injury, did he play in the 10 role? For me he will be a centre forward when he fills out or strengthens a bit. Undoubtedly, his quick feet for his height made him a free kick magnet, but IMO as a right winger, he didn't track back as much as Ashford or even Willock, and in the Championship that will be key. We won't dominate as much as last season.

You are only allowed to play for so many clubs in a year.
Playing for Cardiff on loan, plus Chelsea in friendly may count as 2 clubs.
They will be stuck with him if he cant go out on loan again.Wasting away in reserves.

Pretty sure friendly’s don’t count.
There’s no problem with him going out on loan and I’m convinced Chelsea would know that too.

Like I said earlier in the thread, things like this always go down to the last week (did with Kellyman last season).
Part of me wonders if he'll use Moylan out wide, he can play there or as a ten/striker.
