48 qualifying teams was a farce and now thinking 64 ? and spread around 3 continents , madness.

My opinion, it makes a mockery and if FIFA are not careful it will go the same way as the commonwealth games, FA cup, etc - meaningless !!

I don't think the 64 team thing is a huge issue as it's shifted to multiple hosts. Spain, Portugal, Morocco is a pretty sensible idea to host it. The mad thing is the next tournament counting for Europe, South America and Africa. I don't agree with those hosting rules in the first place as there most continents apart from Europe only have one or two realistic host at most. North America only the US has enough stadiums to run it on its own

2038 only as two contenders oceana or north central America! Usa want it but as the only host... that as not pleaded the other countries in this group of countries.... also problems for Saudi in 34 normally be held late in year like Qatar but there is Ramadan in way of November dates unless play every game at night probably with stupid hours on tv around world....... other factors rules out possibly before Ramadan starts? only time therfore is after Xmas to February... undoubtedly infantino will force through what he wants an expanded WC would also have big effect on things
