We can compete with even the likes of Leicester who are a division below. We a team punching above our weight and that is the attraction. We wouldn’t be who we are if we had crowds of 20k plus consistently in our history.

No, it really doesn’t; but you do appear to like to say such things!![]()
There are so many factors as to why any club has more support than another; whether it be location, population, history, status, or a combination of many factors
Are WHam ‘bigger’ than us? Currently, they probably are; but that could all change by the end of this season, if the stars were to align
As for ‘competing’ with the likes of Leicester? Well, not too many years ago, we were battling them for promotion to the Premier League and beat them in an epic play-off semi-final, so who is to say we couldn’t have been in their shoes, had we survived more than a single season at a time in the Premier League?
I often despair at the negativity (not just with you) towards the club, Cardiff City FC, that we are all supposed to ‘support’!

Where was the negativity Sven. This is what makes Cardiff so much more special that these other clubs with bigger followings, it’s the togetherness the loyalty even with little success. I’m certainly not being negative I love it like this, I hated all the hanger oners from our premier league years where they were there just to watch the opposition. Clubs like ours is why we have such a big professional game across 5 divisions. People have this inversion that we need to and should be bigger than we are, if that were to happen our club we all love and have stuck by won’t be the same, last season was amazing I said it at the start, I really wouldn’t be bothered if we were there again the season after next.
Of the post came across negative then that’s probably on my very poor writing skills and getting across my message. But I proud of our club and hurts when others say we should be this we should be that if they so unhappy then maybe they should find a a club like West Ham Leicester who have bigger followings if that’s all they really care about.
I love Cardiff for what we are not what I want them to be.

That's what I think. Will be interesting to see what the stadium looks like when they play Lincoln.
