Next World Cup could have more teams

Why not make it every country in fifa? 64 teams will mean extra week of competition or less time between games in group stages? Add this to his desire for expanded world club cup plus making it biennial? If I was a player sighning for say man c I would stipulate if want me I'm not playing in world club cup? Otherwise talking 12mnth season 3 out of 4 years something as to give that's for sure

At same stadiums? As any country got enough stadiums to hold that many games or is it going to be 4 countries Co hosting

It would be able to hold it as it has a lot of very big & new stadiums that weren't used this time, there's even a college stadium that holds (I think) 90,0000 but the next WC is on 3 different continents which is crazy so 2034 will have to be somewhere else like Dubai area unless they change the rules on rotation of the host countries.

Other countries who could cope with it when it comes to stadiums are England, Italy, France, Germany etc.

But none of those countries are likely to get a World Cup any time soon it seems.

Quick search and it says there are 12 stadiums there with 20,000 capacity or more, but only two with 50,000 capacity or more. That's not enough for the World Cup. Although they are apparently building more.

It does confuse me why England haven't been given a World Cup since 1966. They have plenty of big stadiums - Wembley, Old Trafford, St James' Park, Villa Park, Etihad, Anfield, Emirates, Spurs stadium, Everton stadium etc. I know they've had the Euros and will again with the rest of the UK in two years but for some reason every time they try and get the World Cup it's given to someone else.

That's because you can't have Europe again straight after it has been used. The same goes for South America & Africa because they're being used as well which doesn't leave much to choose from which is exactly how Infantino meant it to be. It's too soon after this WC for any of the N. American countries but there's not any countries that could hold it alone anymore just because of the shear size & amount of teams it has grown to.

If it is in Saudi in 2034, presumably that counts as Asia so if they continue with rotation it could be North America again in 2038 as Africa, Europe and South America all have games in 2030 so there is nowhere else left to go… If they count Saudi as Middle East then it should be Asia in 2038, and like someone said on a previous thread China might be the obvious choice.

Yes Saudis in Asian group and definitely 2034 hosts... the 2030 WC was rigged so that Saudis would have WC in 34... another crooked infantino deal .... its possible 38 could be in s.america another 3 country host? But this format is going to get problematic with some of the distances and possible extra countries qualifying... brazil is massive country geographically and distances to other possible hosts a logistics nightmare for teams and fans alike..

We all know infantino will work out something but apparently he's under pressure as African countries not supporting is bid to stay on..... fifas qualifying areas are Europe....n america & central..... s America....Africa.... Oceania... Asia..... can rule out Africa for 2038 Asia aswell..... Oceania only new area that can to be considered. Otherwise its back to america&central like now! If go by alternating who holds wc...... and usa have stated interest in 2038 wc
