Cardiff City’s 1st Home Friendly of the Season ended EMBARRASSING

I feel for the fans who paid and attended

I don’t care if it’s only a Friendly at home you still don’t get Slaughtered like this in front of your own fans.

I really hope we are going to bring in 5 Quality Championship players.

Cardiff went in at h-t 3nil down

Changed the Team at h/t.

I NEVER CRITICISE FRIENDLIES / BUT THIS WAS A SHAMBLES BY US.

Thankfully the Danish Club after 57mins at 6 nil up they took their foot of the pedal.

First friendly at home to FC Midtjylland

After just 18mins:
The visitors take the lead through Valdemar Byskov. (0-1)

34 min Franculino scores a second for Midtjylland. (0-2)

Wow 39 min Bak adds a third. (0-3)

H-T 0-3

49 min Midtjylland substitute Friday Etim scores from close range. (0-4)

50 min Etim adds another. (0-5)

57 min Junior Brumado scores. (0-6)

CARDIFF CITY 0 FC Midtjylland 6

H-T 0-3

Let's hope we start spending soon on some quality we have got rid our best midfielder in wintle player of the season,
i await his replacement and hopefully a better player otherwise what was the point in getting rid of your player of the season.

Totally agree mate. Even if we do buy a better replacement for Wintle, I still don't understand why we let him go, we need strength in depth or we are facing a relegation battle.

We have to and should do as we need to show our fans that we are going to do well.

Only just 14,000 Season Tickets Sold for the Championship

The opposition gained nothing as they never had to put their foot down after 57mins

It hurts

I hope so. A lot of characters went missing when the going got tough in the relegation season. I hope if we have a tough start those same characters don’t do the same again

Didn't see the game and I always say that I don't judge results in friendlies. Midtjylland are a good side too.

But it is unacceptable to lose 6-0 at home in any circumstances, feel sorry for the fans that went.

Shows there is a lot of work to do and reinforces the point that we need new players before the end of the window.

Ned,

Like you I never usually criticise friendlies.

But this could have been 10 nil.

It really as you say unacceptable

the squad is limited, very limited at present.

a third should not even be at the club, not good enough end of.

needs a good 5 or 6 quality players in, and by quality, better than anything we have, get rid of the not good enoughs and it'll pay for the quality!

do not care if on contracts, get them out!

not interested in a hammering, same view at end of season, if Tan is not allowing monies, find the monies by removing dead wood, starting with osho!

We played a mix of first team and youth team in each half against a Europa League side.

It’s pre-season.

No Trott.
No Rubin.

People need to calm.

People calling it embarrassing is more embarrassing than the scoreline.

You don’t surrender by 57 mins 6nil

And thankfully they took their foot of the peddle.

They are virtually all our Squad players for this season.

This shows we need some good signings, thankfully we can all see it very early on.

Yes embarrassing

And yes Lawlor / Rubin also our two best players out, but this will happen many times this season them
Out

We were always going to be well off the pace. I predicted 0-4. Not the quality of opposition I’d have picked 2 weeks into preseason training.
Let’s see what happens over next few weeks.

It was shocking I agree, those that deny it must be in another world.

Yes lose 3 nil in a friendly at home but not 6

We need to clear more players out and some quality in ASAP

Sometimes the opposition is just better. They play at a much higher quality than us and have better players. Is what it is. Nothing for people to cry over.

Personally I think the game was to soon in the pre season schedule.
I don't think we'll make a lot of signings. Maybe 2 or 3...
Daland must be on big money, he's a better player than Osho
Anyhow it was to damned hot
