To league 1 Oxford United

Cardiff City’s U18s Lead Coach Tom Hutton has departed the Club this summer to pursue an opportunity within the First Team coaching staff at Oxford United with Aaron Ramsey.

We would like to thank Tom for his service and wish him the very best for the future

Oxford United FC:

Tom Hutton, regarded as one of Wales' brightest coaches, joins after leading Cardiff City's Under-18 side.

“I’m excited by the new challenge and see real potential at Oxford United.”

Hope they've got some good young players because they won't be able to sign anyone. Hutton has been with us for years and always acted in a good way so I wish him well on a permanent level.

Gunter has also gone there. Doesn't sit well with Reading fans because he was at Reading for a while and Oxford are their main rivals.

Being a great footballer and then a great coach is no guarantee , Oxford have taken a chance here . No experience and by that I mean he hasn’t had a coaching role elsewhere or been a number 2 , so this is a tough gig especially with not having the ability for transfers , I can’t see it going well .

Gunter doesn’t seem to do ‘positive supporter relations’ at any of his former clubs!

He was disrespectful to our own after he left for his short moment in the sun with Spurs and then came ‘home’ with Reading

I’m not sure what the levels of ‘expectation’ are at Oxford United, but I see Rambo as an intelligent guy, who will do well in coaching with his Arsenal/Wenger/international experiences

It want too long ago most, including me but not Ken Choo, were ‘happy’ to have him here and we might still be saying that, if it weren’t for the ‘gift’ that was Brian Barry-Murphy

Personally, I wish Rambo well at Oxford United :ayatollah:
