“ Players to miss games “

Arsenal are not expected to have Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice or William Saliba available until after the first international break, regardless of how far they progress at this World Cup.

The club are keen to give all three players an extended period of rest after the tournament, with none expected to feature before the beginning of October.
