All 3 have been made to train with the u21,s which presumably means they are not wanted by bbm

No surprises here I think. Etete and Simic were both very likely to be moved on.
Some thought he may take a look at Daland but I said before that I couldn't really see that happening.

Never sits right with me when players are made to this. Humiliating for them and I don’t really see the issue of 3 more players taking part in training, they don’t necessarily need one-to-one training or any focus but it just feels a bit mean to chuck them out

BBM will build another ‘
tight’ squad for this season and it was explained to me that there is simply no point in players who are not going to be staying at the club being involved in the training and tactics of those who will be (involved)
Harmony is vital in a BBM squad, and there is also the potential for players who leave, taking valuable tactical (and other) information with them

Big waste of money they’ve all been

Savage, I love his ruthless streak; basically, you don't fit, find yourselves a club quick.
Gives us extra money for players that are hungry/good enough.

Kinda agree in part, but additionally look at Chambers and Robertson.
Both couldve gone a different way last season.
But the they both put the work in and showed their ethic and we largely decent first team players by the end of the campaign..
Maybe BBM is testing the waters with Daaland and Simic specifically... Kion is just not good enough regardless.

The best managers are always ruthless, you have to be.
Ferguson - kicks his captain Roy Keane out of the club mid-season
Guardiola - gets rid of the first choice goalkeeper Joe Hart straight away
BBM was ruthless from the start. He told Ralls and Rinomhota he didn't want them as soon as he came into the club.

I thought Daland may have been a financial decision rather than a footballing one, as we definitely did make a few of those. Clearly not.

I am disappointed regarding Etete, but he has proven not to be of the levels required for Championship football
The other two have simply not taken their opportunities, and in the case of all three, it’s best they move on

A sighn that 3 are coming in to replace them in 1st team squad?
No point them training with 1st team not going to be in squad for coming season!

All 3 were awful signings and a waste of money.
Swings and roundabouts, also. Players will gladly down tools when forcing a move; going in the U21's is usually earned.
Good/strong management.
