Oxford are going to turn into a Cardiff tribute act at this rate.

Very good business for them. I am still mystified as to why Wintle was dispatched so quickly following a very successful season for him in League 1, especially as BBM is trying to find a ready made replacement on the transfer market.

I personally thought it was the right decision.

But, whatever your opinion on it. We should all accept that people doubted the manager's transfer decisions in the summer (maybe fairly at the time), but he delivered. So I'll trust his judgement.

Good luck to him. Sent out on loan, then player of the season.
He hasn't had the best of treatment at City and no replacement on the horizon

I believe this was a mad decision, but BBM will live and die by his decisions as all football managers do. I hope he had a replacement signed

Like most, I was surprised but I believe BBM is looking for an upgrade in this important position.
Someone a bit quicker, more athletic.

Great business by Ramsey.

Good luck to him, think its a great buy for them and Rambo.

Very strange how we let him go. Would have defo kept him, he just had his best season as a pro and is hitting his peak. Even if we wanted better, he would have been great cover and good to have around the place. Wages clearly not a problem either if he's stayed down in league 1.

A replacement must be lined up, ideally 2...coz I'm unsure if King will cut it at Championship level.

Would have kept Wintle - but I'm not the manager, BBM is.

Would have got rid of Osho - if he was a liability in L1, the Champ strikers will eat him up.

He's BBM's big signing, so he can't go back on that - could be a good benchmark to judge BBM this coming season.

Have to agree there.

Very professional from attitude from Wintle, on and off the pitch.

5 years with us - not a peep or moan when he was sent out to Blackpool and Millwall - excellent reports from both those clubs.

We were relegated in the season he was out on loan and promoted when he came back, fans and players POY, then binned off way too quickly. Under appreciated doesn't begin to cover it.

He might be thinking 'I'm better off elsewhere' - couldn't blame him.

How do you know there’s no replacement on the horizon?

I do agree that his attitude appears to have been proper and correct.

But there is no room in football for sentiment. Can't really judge it until we see the replacement, no need to worry that they haven't come in yet because it's only June.

I wouldn't doubt BBM; he sees all the players every day, and he's had experience at Man City, he knows what he needs and can spot a good player.

Ramsey might want him for a different style of play and for his experience, and maybe his own man in the middle.

It will be interesting to see how it all pans out.

L1 player. BBM has made the right call. He was free, so if championship quality; he'd have been snapped up.

Was great last season, but has proven his level. I wish him all the best at Oxford as he's always put a shift in. A good fit for both.

We have a few other L1 players as well! Robbo, Willock, Etete, Davies, Turnbull. I also think our fullbacks lack the pace for the higher level. Kpakio needs a loan to learn how to defend or be a winger.

Osho done well with Luton helping them get promoted to the prem. He’s no stranger to championship football.

Well, we are about to find out - he doesn't fill me with confidence. I assume he will first choice, unless we sign someone else, so we'll see how that goes.
