I agree but it's also a stupid rule too. If players want to have an argument in private then let them.

This reversing a corner decision, is it going to be implemented next season in the Premier League or Championship or is this just for the World Cup tournament? I understand you need VAR to implement it so that would limit it's use. Also if they reverse the decision after the ref has incorrectly given a corner, why do they not give a corner when the ref incorrectly calls a goal kick? Seems ridiculous to me one way and not the other. What reason have they given for that?

I agree; and I initially thought it was what he said rather than that he was talking to the hand

Mike, it was brought in for a good and legitimate reason.
It stops idiot footballers and cowards racially abusing others by hiding what they are saying. There was a big case recently involving this.
I think it’s a good law.

Yeah I realise why this rule was brought but I think it's pathetic. Then again a hell of a lot of footballers are pathetic too.
I just feel it's another ridiculous rule to spoil the enjoyment of the game.

I would assume their stamping out racism campaign is more important to them.
The Oddity of this rule is that players are less likely to be spotted and sent offif they just openly abuse an opponent.
