World Cup manager asks FIFA to change rules:

Thu Jun 18, 2026 1:44 pm

England manager Thomas Tuchel:

"I’m begging FIFA to change the position of the photographers in the national anthem, because I could not see my team. And I was waiting for this moment.

It was a very, very special moment today, and I was standing in front of a wall of 50 photographers, half a metre away.

And I could not see one single player, and it ruined my experience a little bit."

Judging by that picture he's 100% right, that is ridiculous. A lot seem to be pointed at him after what he said about the national anthem?

I don't really understand why they need so many photographers of a manager stood in the dugout. Surely only need a few and then they can sell the pictures to all media outlets.

Surprisingly it looks like FIFA listened to him.

Fair play to him for speaking up and actually getting FIFA to change something. Seen videos of the situation and the photo is legit.
