UEFA has said there are currently NO plans to add hydration breaks in European competitions like during the World Cup.

At this point I think Ceferin will just do the opposite of what FIFA does. Pretty obvious that Ceferin doesn't like Infantino.
First giving the African referee the Super Cup Final and now this.

Someone better tell BBM because around 22 minutes we always have a player down and a little huddle. Its just a thing nowadays from either team.
UEFA needs to leave FIFA, Fcuk em. The money and power is in Europe. I am very disappointed in the major Euro federations. They should have threatened to leave with all the bollox in this WC.

The hydration breaks should only kick-in at a certain temperature. This isn't the case at this WC, disapointing

Hasn't this been the rule forever? The truth is it's just a cash grab

USA made this happen as they have Adverts in USA on every break
It’s all about the extra money

Only FIFA can make that sort of change & no doubt a few stuffed envelopes were passed across the table to get the change made for this WC, by the advertisers who sponsor the whole tournament. There is nothing to stop other countries tv channels from making use of it, it's for a set amount of time so get in there ITV etc.
Do I like it? No, it should have been left at the refs discretion as has been the case in the 2 previous world cups & in most countries depending on the weather & how hot it is but at least for this WC having it set & the same for everyone evens it out. I don't like that tactical adjustments are being made, let's see if Sweden use it to stem the Dutch onslaught right now.

To be fair to ITV over here, they have chosen not to show adverts during hydration breaks - they could have made more money by showing adverts. BBC obviously different because they're not a commercial broadcaster.
