How many fans do TNS actually take when they have an away European qualifier?

They only get to qualifying every year because their owner is loaded, but fail in the qualifiers. Think I read at some point he wanted to buy a League One or League Two club.

Good luck to Penybont though.

Annis I watche'd them start years ago they are now based in England you will see more st George flags around the ground rather than red dragons,

It is totally run as a buisness not a football club there ground is the back of the sports centre ,and no club house they have been professional for years in an amateur league ,they have milked millions over the years but taken all the Titles.

He's got money but not enough for the EFL I think.

Guess it depends on targets but Shrewsbury were in League One recently, he doesn't have enough to get them back there. MK Dons spent a lot of money last summer.

Monty,

I’ve heard that.

And it’s got no feeling or passion with I. The club.

The FAW and Noel Mooney love them though as it gets money into the FAW coffers.

They no longer need the owners money as UEFA money has completely distorted the League. They get at least twice as much for qualifying for Europe than all the other clubs combined get through gate money so no other club can compete. To be fair you cant blame them but it has completely ruined the competitiveness of the league and it will carry on.

Dragging this old post up to have a "Chat" about what it would take to get a Welsh Club into the league phase of the Champions League.

So New Saints lost to Sabah in the first qualifying round. 2-0 and 2-1 ......... not bad quite respectable.

Sabah have just qualified for the League Phase of the tournament and will now play the likes of Barcelona, Arsenal and Man U.

Is there any reason our club couldn't set up another club in the Welsh Premier and challenge New Saints? All the major (and not so major) club owners, also own "Feeder" clubs, why not us?

I know Tan is never going to be flavour of the month but it would be pennies for him to run a Welsh Premier club and attempt to get them in the Champions League instead of fighting in the Belgian League with KV Kortrijk, where he has no chance.

Not just us but also Swansea and Wrexham. It would be little outlay for the owners.
