Steve Borley OBE.

Congratulations Steve Borley on being awarded an OBE.

I realise on this MB, he may not be everyone's fav, but I think he's a nice guy, a passionate City fan and a great businessman. I dealt with CMB for a number of years and they're a good local employer.

I like Steve. He does care about the club and the abuse he sometimes gets during flash points is uncalled for. He played a big part in saving this football club.

(IF ITS TRUE)….He also played a part in killing the club for many fans by backing and encouraging Vincent with the change to red by telling him the majority of Cardiff fans would accept it.

Many congratulations Steve on your OBE. A Llanrumney man who has committed a huge amount of his personal time and money into many successful projects over a number of years including also financially supporting the Club at times when we had very little coming in. I am very pleased for Steve and his family to be recognised for all that he has done in the local community and wish him continued success. Well done Steve!

If it’s true, I’m sure he regrets it and we’ve all (well, most have) moved on from the darkest of days

Steve Borley is a stalwart of our club and a true Bluebird. He’s put his hands in his own pocket more than once, when things were pretty dire, he (apparently) bankrolled the training facility, he is approachable, and he’s a successful local businessman/employer

He hasn’t/didnt ‘kill’ this club. He helped ‘save’ it (albeit with errors made) and I for one, congratulate Steve Borley, OBE, on receiving this honour!
