Rob Edwards first heard of his sacking after members of his family saw rumours of Cesar Peixoto's appointment on social media.

Edwards then called the club to ask about the rumours.

Club officials then confirmed in a phone call he had been sacked.

Unlucky, he should have stayed at Middlesbrough; he might have been looking forward to a season in the Premier League if he'd been more loyal.

Don't get all this sympathy for him when he jumped ship from Middlesbrough straight away.

They sighned trippier knowing they were going to sack Edwards? He is now looking if he can rip up contract! Very deceitful but them

100% agree. Loyalty works both ways. Unlucky, this was always going to happen. His ego is the root cause.
