Good, if he goes know it'll be down to the dictator.

I think if someone offers big money then it will be difficult to turn down.

But on the flip side, if he has a good individual season with us in the Championship then his price will rocket further.

Good news, that puts BBM in control and where he would only sell if it is beneficial to the club and Lawlor, and that would have to be a very big deal.

Tan could say to BBM there is your budget transfer fund.

Surely if he doesn't want to go then he doesn't have to go if he's under contract, whether the club except an offer or not???

Yes this 100% my boys speak to his dad in school everyday (I've given them permission to cause mischief just to be sent to his office to get updates :) ) and his dad has said the same Dylan loves cardiff loves playing under bbm and is looking forward to a Crack at the championship

L1 to a traditional top 6 won't happen, he'll be watched by everybody. Maybe if a Brighton, Bournemouth or Brentford came in for him I'd be a little concerned. They have a history of making £15mil ~ £20mil players £70 or £80mill in a few seasons.

Little point going to a lower premier league club and struggling, may as well have a season in the championship. And I just can't see West Ham having anything like the money and sell on clause to interest city.

Vinny is not daft, he held out for Davies and Ashford, he'll want to prove to the world his football credentials and that academy is going to supply them (IMO).

If someone makes a big offer I'd imagine we'd have to sell him but I can't really see it. I'd imagine we'll get a few low ball offers, West Ham have been mentioned but as others have said Lawlor could be 50-60 million player in a couple of years, we'd be mad to sell

It's true. This was announced a little while back on CCW by Si.

I think hes a good player but if a massive bid of 15mill came in we should sell him , I think hes going to be bit injury pronein his career and not play half the season every year .

I said he'd be worth £50m+ if continues his progress..... but no matter how much sell for there must be 40%+ sell on cla!use

If Liverpool, Arsenal, Man Utd, Bayern, etc., came in for him he would quickly change his mind.

Football is a short career and if you get a chance as a youngster to play at the very highest level then you simply have to take it.

Personally I think he needs a season playing at Championship level with us, after that he will be worth double and be more ready for the highest level.

Realistically, any club outside of the Prem is a selling club, whether we like it or not, such is the financial divide. If someone comes in with £20m+ we will, and probably should, take it and invest that money.

I’d love to see Lawlor make it with us but unless we go up next season (very unlikely sadly), next season is likely to be his last season with us.

Spurs could gamble on him and would be a good opportunity for him to advance too
