Tan MUST invest then. Preferably we hold out til Jan or end of season and get another 50% on top.
Lawlor has been plagued a little by injuries.

If this is all correct (and there's no reason to believe it isn't) what would people accept as an acceptable amount if they came in with an offer? 5, 10, 20 million? No amount whatsoever this summer? Everyone has their price.
I don't think we should be entertaining any offer below 10 million as a minimum. Do I think he's worth that? Not yet but he could be worth a lot more in the future.

Said this on the other thread.
I say £15m with a sell on clause, I think that's fair because he has the potential to be worth a lot more than that.
It's also not a huge figure when you consider Jude Bellingham was sold to Dortmund for £25m when he was a 17-year-old at Birmingham. Went on to be sold to Real Madrid for £100m.
Not saying that Lawlor is as talented as Bellingham but it's an example I've used to justify £15m being fair.

Oh yeah there has to be a sell on clause & what you say makes sense.

WTactualF? West Ham show interest & some see it as we've already given him away for cheap. C'mon that's beyond ridiculous.

I agree. Don't really get them using Southampton as an example either, think they let Bale go for about £8m.

In 2007, they sold Bale for an initial £5m (rising to £8m). Adjusted for Premier League football inflation, which completely outpaces regular inflation, that is worth a massive £35m to £49m in today’s market!
Southampton has a history of securing huge fees, and we need to hold that standard. I completely agree that £15m should be our absolute bare minimum, and we must push for a loan-back clause as part of the deal.

We sold Ramsey to Arsenal for £5million in 2008. Today, that would equate to £30million to £35Million, so £15Million may even end up cheap?
