A forum for all things Cardiff City

Some of us love the rumour mill when its in full flow, and we’ve been linked to a few players before the new window has even opened, so I thought I’d start a thread where we could keep all the players we get linked with in one thread
The latest name being reported Rocco Shein, a 22 year old Estonian international, who played 11 games this last season, with 2 goals and 3 assists

I dont know how reliable Transfer Markt is - it seems as though anyone can post
However, someone has put this up (in March though) saying we have enquired at least for Faton Ademi. Another center midfield who plays for Aachen

https://shorturl.at/vu6WLEstonian MF Rocco Shein from the Norwegian league as well being touted, €3-€5Million though I can't see us splashing that sort of cash around

BBM is being backed so not surprised to see us being linked with players that command a fee in the millions.
Don't know much about the other players, but Wareham scored a lot in League One this season.

Out of those clubs linked you would imagine due to the BBM factor, we would be the preferred destination for a promising young player looking for elite development.

West Ham can't do any business until they sell the likes of Bowen, Fernandes and Summerville because of the financial issues they have. Parachute payments don't even help them because they took a loan out against future Premier League TV money, which they obviously now don't get.
Anyway I don't see him leaving this summer unless someone offers stupid money, that certainly won't be from West Ham.

A few reports of WHam wanting Dylan Lawlor with FLW stating his ‘
current value’ as c.£1.5m ‘
with the potential’ to reach £20-25m ‘
once he proves his potential in the Championship’
I can’t see him going anywhere this season, as he progresses under BBM, unless an ‘
incredible’ bid comes in from a top 10 Premier League (or European) club

He certainly isn't going anywhere for 1.5 million anything not even Cadbury Creme eggs & I've heard they're not what they used to be.

?????
West Ham are supposedly perusing a deal for cardiff city and wales defender Dylan Lawlor
Bayern Munich are also monitoring the player

I hope we don't rush into a small priced sale for a prospect, like we did with Rambo.

You'd like to think so wouldn't you but the likelihood is he'll go to whichever team pays the highest transfer fee and wages.

But he's not for sale at the moment so unless there is a ridiculous bid for him he's not going anywhere & it's just paper talk. But people have the head clown just selling him to whoever makes any bid just because it it's how they think.

7 million is the amount doing the rounds on social media tonight , I think we would be crazy to sell Dylan for that price

If he got to 10 million Tan might be tempted to say let him go or he may tell Murphy sell him and use the money to fund other transfers,
but thats a guess on my part, but after last season, having to dive into the academy that could be likely but foolish, hold on tight to him this season at least would be best.

My opinion is that Lawlor won't leave this summer.
Also, BBM will be backed. That's obvious.

If do sell must put in at least a 50% sell on clause because he potentially is a £50m+ valued player in future

I agree about a sell on clause but I’ve never heard of a 50% clause.
Maybe wrong but that would be a hard sell to the buying club for sure.

Lawlor started 27 matches and came on as a sub in 5. Out of those 27 appearances he came off 9 times before full time.
So across the full league one season he played 90 minutes 18 times.
In those appearances he excelled and we can see his talent. But to spend big on a player with such limited date, presumably it’s only top 6 clubs who’d take such a risk?

I think Man City have a 40% sell on clause for Robertson so when we do sell Lawlor, hopefully we can put in something similar.
