Chelsea decision triggers Omari Kellyman transfer scramble as Cardiff City in fight
The 20-year-old enjoyed a hugely successful spell with the Bluebirds during their promotion-winning campaign, scoring 11 goals

Cardiff City face a major fight to bring Omari Kellyman back to the club after Chelsea decided the highly-rated youngster will spend next season out on loan once again.

However, Cardiff are unlikely to have a clear run at re-signing the attacker, with interest already emerging from Championship rivals and clubs across Europe.

According to The Athletic, Chelsea have decided Kellyman will head out on loan again next season as the Premier League giants continue to oversee his development away from Stamford Bridge

Hopefully they were pleased with the progress he made with us last season so they decide us and BBM are the best option.

I'm not surprised a lot of Championship clubs want him though, he's a quality player.

Agree; I hope he comes back here; it would make good sense for all parties! :ayatollah:

Would love him back , the only thing I could see stopping it is kellyman wants to play as a ten as that's where hes best but here he would be used mainly as a wide player as rubin is bbm,s first choice 10 and kellyman may not fancy another season mostly out wide

If I were Chelsea I'd send him to a physically easier league than the championship. Super quick, talented feet for such a tall lad, but little strength. They have the Strasburg option, where they can monitor things

I think he’s not coming back otherwise surely it would have been done deal then announced.
Hope I’m wrong :banghead:

This adds very little to the transfer discussion but I always found him to be a quiet and really well mannered character in the gym, and wondered if that’s one of the reasons it worked so well with BBM.

Spoke to him a few times and he always seemed really grateful for the opportunity to play first team football. I don’t know him personally, and he might be completely different where he’s comfortable with his team mates so I take my own perception with a pinch of salt.. but I would be surprised to see him go and be a huge character that a club in the top 6 of the championship might expect him to be. For example an ego player like Mitrovic that led the charge for Fulham

No loans will be announced now, mainly because the transfer window isn't open.
