Very Sad Kevin Keegan one of my all time Fav Players

Mon Jun 01, 2026 3:43 pm

BREAKING: Former Newcastle manager Kevin Keegan has got stage 4 cancer and wishes to say goodbye to his beloved Newcastle before he passes away.

Kevin Keegan:

“I've got stage four cancer. It's been a really tough time - I need to say goodbye to Newcastle United properly... just promise not to build a statue of me at St James' Park until I'm gone”

We are heartbroken to hear this news and wish his family and friends the best at this very difficult time.

Terrible news!

One of my favourite players as well. Great personality and his enthusiasm for playing was one of his major assets.
So sad.

This is extremely sad news. An absolute legend of football both as a player and a manager.

I know a few Toon fans and he's seen as a god-like figure up there.

I wish him and his family the best. Would love it if he can somehow beat this diagnosis.

Very sad news Keegan was the smallest of strikers but biggest in stature ,himself and toshack together what a pairing.
