Crazy how quickly his managerial career has deteriorated.

He should just call it a day and retire, he's got enough money. Loads of podcasts these days so can fill his time by appearing on those.

There are obviously managers like Pulis and Mick who decided not to manage below the Championship and he should have followed that.

Was he that bad? He got them to the play offs. The top of the national league is highly competitive look at York and Rochdale's battle at the top. Two ex league clubs just like Carlisle. Lots of teams in that league who City have lost to over the years!

He also was their manager for the second half of last season when they got relegated from League Two. So they would have expected an instant return.

The psychology of these things blows my mind.

How does a world-class player who needed to believe in himself realise that the role he has been in longer than playing, that he isn't very good at?

At what point do you just look at yourself in the mirror and say fcuk it?
