Never made it in the World Cup Australian Squad, shocked.

He’s quality in my view.

Surprised, I think he's quality and one of our best players.

Australia fans love him too.

Australian fans are really not happy about this and are venting at the manager , they believe Alex is their most technically gifted midfielder

I’m surprised at this.

I for one don’t think we have seen the best of him yet, there were rumours of a fall out with him and BBM or the club at the beginning of the season, but since he started getting game time he’s proved himself.

As long as he stays I think he will be one of our better more consistent player next season, and maybe being left out of the Australia squad could be a blessing for us, as he will want to prove himself.

He is definitely a good player, I don’t think the fact we were a league 1 team helps players, the standard is so low generally in the league it must be difficult to benchmark a player, it’s taken Rubin all these years to look ok but in reality it’s the lower league that’s done that which probably goes a long way to why he doesn’t get in the wales squad.

I wouldn’t be choosing a league player to be in my squad if there were players of higher leagues available for selection. It may be wrong but you’re judged by the level your playing at.

Shame for the lad.
Hopefully will be fresher for the start of next season as a result.

Should be in that squad - just like Morgan Gibbs - White for England
