Sad news Alwyn Evans (dillwyn)

Very sad news today ,ginger dillwyn sadly passed away after a stroke last week,a ledgend of a man ,always smiling and laughing, a great city fan .RIP BUDDY

I do not think this is a chap I Knew from Llanrumney named Alwyn Evans who I attended a few games with way back ?

Alwyn is/was a super Home and Away (coach) bluebird and a very nice person.

This Alwyn Evans from Llanrumney would be about 66/67 years old but I knew him as a 20 something back in the day when living in Llanrumney.

Dill was a very special man,huge City fan, loving family man ,gentle giant...if you were lucky to know him or spend time with him you would always be in the presence of a larger than life character full of fun ,he lit up the room.A huge loss .

Used to chat to him in tescos cafe , bridgend after he had taken his mum shopping

They still talk about his wokingham appearance in the fa cup

Probably a statue of him down there somewhere
