I agree he just needs a plan b to change it up when needed that was our only fault in some games last season but I think that most fans including me will be buzzing for next season under bbm and I think tge championship will suit our style of play better than lincoln.

I disagree Monty, I think the Championship brutally exposes weakness. Lincoln are a well-drilled physical unit; you'll have to work hard to beat them. They were comfortably ahead of us, and we lost our duel player of the season and Kellymen. Currently, we are weaker than a month ago.
We struggled against "keep it tight and hit us on the break or set plays" in L1; the championship has better, sharper forwards and better set-piece takers.
Every season i put a fiver on us being promoted (only 7/2 this season) so I'm an optimist.
I believe Vinny will back BBM I just hope it's enough to win more than we lose.

Monty the players love playing for him with a few signings who knows what we can achieve we've got a gem in BBM !!!!!

I think the ‘feel good’ factor brought about by BBM is akin to the one Neil Warnock fostered after some equally dark days a few years ago!

He (BBM) sets high standards of his players, the successful one ‘buy in’ to it, and he gets the best from them!

I’m confident of a good return to the Championship but I don’t want us supporters to get too carried away with an ‘over expectation’ that might see us disappointed even if in reality, we have a good season

However, I do believe ‘good times’ are on their way, if BBM is ‘supported’ and the owner/Board realise the value of the asset they have at their disposal right now in BBM! :ayatollah:

We lost our main striker for a big part of the season, he will be with us from day one in the championship i just think our style will prevail but you think different fair enough.

Top 8 no problem that's where my money's going , probably heart ruling head lol but I dont think teams will sit in against us in the championship and that's when we are at our best , so I genuinely believe top 8 is achievable with a few additions to the squad

I just don't want fans to get carried away, we were poor for three seasons before the inevitable relegation.

Last season we probably had the most talented sqaud in L1, Lincoln the most professional. Salech will get better, but we still have no back up. No starting 6 and Chambers & Daland struggled at centre half in the championship. With only NG,willock & an aging Robbo have played more than 40 games in the championship.

BBM never played or managed at this level. He is a great coach, Wintle was a ballsy big decision, and i trust he has a replacement already lined up. My only lingering fear is that he is wed to his system when this is a very pragmatic league.

Mid-table boredom will do me next season.

Wed to the same system is your fear that's what i said about changing it up with a plan B

Hull have just proved you don't need to spend loads of money to get promoted.

If he's backed with 4 or 5 better outfield players we should be ok in my opinion, as long as he has a plan b because the championship won't be so easy on us for results , not unlike div 1 where we got away with a point or 3 points after wing under the cosh most a game. Eitherway we are back to where we come from so that's a plus under BBM :bluescarf:
