Yea i thought we would of been around 14k by now , I was hoping we would get around 18k by the start of the season with the buzz around the club but looking like nearer 15k will be closer

For context, we'd only sold just over 5k at this point last year.

Yeah but the fact it's over double what it was at this stage last year should be seen as good.

Bolton, Bradford etc are known for good season ticket sales so I'm not going to compare us to them.

I don't think 11k is that bad. It's a third of our stadium size.

But we won't know how good season ticket sales are until we get the final numbers. Very few more could be sold or we could get 16k. But 11k in May is fine in my opinion.

Not brilliant, but fine.

ANNIS
I agree the board have never been able to promote anything you would think "choo" is supposed to be a salesman ffs,it's a shame the supporters reps don' t have more of a say in how to promote games,
i am sure they would make a better fist of it than what's on offer at the moment

I agree, we are ‘great value’ and should be selling more! :ayatollah:

Having said that, one supporter in another thread think our prices are a ‘rip-off!

Re: Season ticket sales

Mon May 18, 2026 6:20 pm

Haven't they been on current st only sales until today? So only renuals could be sold so 11k is just short of entire sales last season so can expect in excess of 14k this season... maybe should offer massive discounts to encourage 20k+ sales but that will impact investment in players .... we'll be there despite the £3k inclusive bill for whole season... cost of living will have undoubtedly a limited effect but suspect still get bigger crowds fans will just go game by game ..... anyway look forward to a promotion push however many turn up.

I'm sure that number will climb as next season looms.

IMHO our season tkt prices are great value, in comparison s/t's down Cardiff Devils are expensive, a family of 2 adults and 2 under 16''s cost anything between £2100 and £2500 for the season, probably a grand more than the equivalent down the City.

They’ve been on sale 6 weeks, so what worries me is why did the 14,500 not all renew??
Plus more?

Also just look at the oppositions fantastic this season.

And our prices are very good.

Well it’s good if we this season sell 18,000

Allan,

But the cost of living does not seem to hurt other clubs.

That excuse gets used year after year.

Missed interpretation Annis .... People may not buy st because of cost living but will go to games on a match by match basis rather than get ST ..... our crowds will be up on last season in championship! 11k ST without general sale is good expect 18k by start season...
Not sure there are clubs increasing St sales unless there's a reason for it like takeover or improvement with a manager like bbm........ trouble with heavily discounted St prices is yes get big sales but the income is not increased enough to benefit the club in player investment.... do notice large areas empty seats at match day just like city so buying St but only attending certain games.... West ham have 14k non attending St holders sure we have 3or4k non attending every match... one big thing that matters to fans is 3pm ko every time we have 12.30 ko how many casual fans we lose because of kids football ect ....I share your frustration annis but that's life can't force people to buy ST .... I'm hoping to see more games this season except night games.....

Can't open the season tickets on the app.. anyone else having a problem

Re: Season ticket sales

Tue May 19, 2026 1:41 pm

Haven't the sales so far just been for existing st holders who want to keep their same seats & today they open to everyone for early bird sales? Doesn't seem too bad so far if that's the case.

Re: Season ticket sales

Tue May 19, 2026 2:33 pm

When we were promoted under Lennie in 2002 , after that great day v QPR .....

Even then our season ticket sales were not as good as we thought

We are just not a well supported club and we will only ever get good gates in the Premier League

Big games .....everyone wants a ticket

But week in week out we are not a big club

The stadiums 5000 seats too big as well , thats part of the reason why the atmosphere is crap sometimes

Sadly I agree with you.

We turn up about 2/3 times a year for the big ones.

Unless we are in the Premiership.

Can slate the club for a lot of stuff but the ST prices are good. Our season tickets are much cheaper than Bromleys season tickets for god sake.

I’ve paid less than this:

Says Cardiff are about 20th Cheapest

But I think We are 15th Cheapest out of 72 Clubs
