We defended from the front last night

Bothroyd (amazing keep it up mate), Chopra, Bellamy, Whittingham and Burke all running back into our own half to defend. Immense performance all round from the team.

Kept saying that all night THEY ALL worked so hard in closing down and chasing back. We actually played like we really wanted it last night and Jay's work rate was immense in comparison to when he first signed. Is it DJ's comments that he should be considered for England that's driving him? If it is....master stroke DJ!!

The iprovement in Jays overall game has been huge this season and I am sure he would admit that himself. We all know he is a big strong lad who holds the ball up well has superb ball control and is an accurate passer of the ball. However he is now banging in the goals and tracking back to make tackles and is quickly becoming an all round superb striker. My own view is that he can't be far away from an England call up and Dave Jones is right, Capello should take a look. What will it take for him to get the nod? Well let's say we played one of the big boys in the FA Cup and Jay destroyed them, Capello would have to have a look. I think Jay is well capable of that - keep it going mate you have been a superb player for us and long may it continue - oh and please sign that contract

I agree there have been players that have played for England in the past from the second tier and our stay there is only temporary so in May Capello will be picking a Premiership player. Jay is also exactly what England are looking for quality touch (with the eception of the one that nearly lead to a snapped leg for Beccio last night), holds the ball up well, good in the air and can score goals. Someone start facebook group Jay Bothroyd for England!

weve got such a potent attacking force and going forward we look like we can score at will..

last night we showed that these attackers are taking defensive responsibility also. everytime it looked like leeds had caught us out a swarm of black shirts got back..

with us looking nervy at times previously in defence it doesnt half make a difference when everyone else helps out.
