Cardiff City are approaching a major summer crossroads with key contract decisions looming and an important EFL deadline now less than 24 hours away.

The futures of three key members of Brian Barry-Murphy’s promotion-winning squad - Perry Ng, Joel Bagan and Ryan Wintle - whose contracts are all due to expire on June 30.

All EFL clubs must submit their retained lists by Saturday, May 16, informing players whether they intend to keep them beyond the expiry of their current deals.

I think all those 3 have improved so much under bbm all 3 could have been players of this season imo.

Totally agree Monty. These are 3 of our best players.

None of the squad were good enough when we were relegated from the championship but that was under bulut and riza. Under BBM all players are playing better and will be much better in the championship next season.

These are 3 of our best players, NG having player of the season in the championship a few years ago. Wintle had it last season and Bagan pushed him all the way.

So if your opinion is these 3 aren't good enough then probably none of the squad are....... release them all

Keep as they are now managed/ trained correctly.

All 3 are working horses.

All 3 can play in varied positions.

Lose higher paid folk like Chambers , Osho ,Wilox, Robinson,as they will struggle

All 3 should be retained without a question mark. NG was player of year twice in championship before his one bad season when the club were too. Bagan is now a crucial first team player and wintle player of year this season says everything

Had to be submitted by yesterday but if you remember last year, it wasn't made public until about a month after the deadline.

Hopefully we'll know a bit quicker this year. Maybe it'll be announced in the week. Media department might not be working weekends at the moment, because there's no need for them to.

Totally agree Mike. I doubt if Bulut or Riza could have got a tune out of Kellyman let alone the other three. BBM has a clean slate and I trust his judgement of the players. If he thinks they will struggle in the Championship then fair enough.

You only need to check the views of other team's fans and League 1's many bloggers to realise that our squad is considered to be well above League 1 standard. With a few additions I fully expect them to give a much better account of themselves under BBM than they did under Bulut and Riza.

We have no cover for Wintle or Bagan, and Kpakio isn't ready to replace NG

Played well in League 1 but for me that is Wintles level, we need someone far better for Championship and it isnt him or Turnbull, NG im 50/50 and Bagan has improved to be fair but not as a starter in Championship.
