Nantes relegated

Nantes got relegated last night following defeat to RC Lens last night.

I wonder with this that they won’t appeal with the financial situation they will be in.

We would be due to win next time round if this hadn’t have happened but the money Tan is asking for is obscene for the money the club has and he never dropped the asking price.

The board are still going to persist with this by all accounts which I don’t know why now especially after they’ve declared their financial situation with relegation.

I suppose whatever happens karma came for Nantes with the relegation a disgusting club I hope we never have to have any dealings with again, I’d probably say the dislike is on par with Swansea and Bristol the way they’ve behaved.

Yes I was there that night. Think it may have been the same season we played Real Madrid (By which time Tosh was gone). Also remember us stuffing the Norwegian cup winners 12-2 on aggregate ( 7-1 away!) a year before or after and the Dutch cup winners NAC Breda 4-1. And a little bit before my time we knocked out Sporting Lisbon the holders. What great nights we had in Europe around then
