The Bluebirds head coach flew out to the Asian country to meet with owner Vincent Tan



Brian Barry-Murphy travelled to Malaysia to meet Vincent Tan face-to-face for the first time since becoming Cardiff City head coach, as preparations ramp up for a pivotal summer at the club.



Barry-Murphy’s wife, television presenter Sarah-Jane Crawford, posted a series of photographs and videos from the family’s Malaysian holiday on social media, with one image showing the Cardiff boss and Crawford alongside Bluebirds owner Tan.



The final video in the carousel showed Tan personally giving Barry-Murphy and Crawford a tour of the Kuala Lumpur skyline from the top of one of the city’s skyscrapers.

All the right noises are coming out of the club at the moment the rumours bbm is being backed properly this summer are gathering pace , are we about to see tans final gamble in trying to get us back to the premier league so he can sell the club at the highest price possible

I remember when Riza was summoned by Tan and that didn't work out too well.

This time though, it looks like the stubborn emperor may have been wooed or even mesmerised by the Irish charm of BBM and the sultry good looks of his missus.

Let's hope Tan opens his pockets a bit.

If I remember correctly Riza wasn't summoned by Tan - he just turned up uninvited to try to persuade Tan to give him the job permanently.

Tan opened the door, saw Riza and said "Who the f**k are you?"

Then, after Riza came back from Malaysia for no other reasons than to piss off the fanbase and because he was cheap, Tan gave Riza the job full time.

That worked out really well didn't it?

As much as we want Tan to sell, it seems certain that it won't happen this summer.

So it would help if BBM has a good relationship with Tan. Going by this picture and other stuff, I think he does. Even little things like introducing Tan to his wife will help the relationship between Tan and BBM.

That will all only help him in getting support from Tan for players he wants this summer.

Tan won't sell this summer he wants one more go to try and get us back in the premier league so he can sell at a premium, which is why im convinced he will fully back bbm this summer

Yeah, I totally agree. That's why I said it's almost certain we won't be sold this summer.

I hope that BBM is backed, because top eight (play-offs) would be achievable then.

I do think this visit will help that, because they both seem genuinely happy to see each other.

Agree except midfielders, unless Wintle leaves, then 1 holding yes, as Mafico could be in squad as back up.

Shame he couldnt be bothered to come to any home or away game to watch our team or speak to bbm.oh well,I am not suprised you be honest.
