This would be a good start retaining players but the big big question is what newbies are we going to bring in, cannot see big hitters but young boys again from bbm but no big spend from Mr Tan.

Brilliant news, glad we've moved to do this before the window has even opened.

Don't understand why a player who has been at this club all season has to have medical - Unless it's the rules ???

With our track record on medicals - tick box exercise ;) - Hope this gets done soon :bluebird:

Monty, I dislike Tan as much as anyone but just maybe he can see BBM is the one who can push us to challenge for promotion, BBM convinced Trott, new keeper coach also, next few signings will be interesting. Tan may have told BBM have a go next season, let me know cost and I may back you!

Tan failed to back bbm with any heavy cash this season, that's why we had no choice to dig into the academy.

When your buying a player you always get a fresh medical and for insurance purposes etc

BBM and VT bound to have had talks since promotion confirmed.

BBM also signed a 3 year contract which is unusual for Tan to offer!

Exactly Chris, a great start. Its a great coup by the our club as I’m convinced he could have gone to a higher placed team.

Even though a few on here said we wouldn’t do it.

Mr. Grumpy - ‘tippy tappy back to the goalie’ blah blah

Credit to the board/committee - whoever makes these decisions nowadays - for getting this over the line. Many on here were saying they wouldn’t, and BBM wouldn’t get the backing.

I hope this is the start of heavy backing for BBM this window, to give us the best possible chance next year. Feels positive at the club atm and appreciate it wont feel like this forever, let’s enjoy it while it lasts. Big challenges ahead.

Interested in the technicalities of this potential signing.

How can we sign him outside of a transfer window?

Is it all part and parcel of the loan deal at the start?

Good news
I remember Kris Boyd having a medical with us.
Halfway through it, his agent rang him and said he had a better offer elsewhere
That was the last we saw of him

Transfer can be completed now but contract doesn't officially begin until the transfer window opens.
