Who finishes highest in the championship next year?

Thu May 07, 2026 2:55 pm

6 Welsh derby games next season.
3 teams to battle for the title of the Biggest team in Wales.
But who wins it.

Ive gone for wrexham because I can only see them investing more this year and they were unlucky to just miss out on play offs this time

Its a fair assesment Dan.
Theyre certainly the wealthiest of the three clubs.
And historically Ryan and Rob have always "Gone for it"

I've gone for cardiff as I've heard bbm will be fully backed over the pre season and we will be having a real go at it , whether that is true or not only time will tell but as soon as next seasons odds come out I'll be putting down a few quid on a top 8 finish

I'll answer in July/August, because there is no way of knowing right now.

All three will move players on and bring in players obviously, and without a crystal ball I wouldn't have any confidence in predicting anything at this stage.

On current squads. I’ve gone Wrexham. I can see them spending to get promotion. I can’t see us spending as much. But I hope we have a good crack at stabilising and staying up comfortably

Wrexham. Unfortunately I can't see Tan backing BBM as much as Wrexham will support their boss and they had a good go this season just finished.

Agree!

That would be my current expectation but a good summer of signings by BBM would give me more confidence that our team could do well back in the Championship :ayatollah:

I was only thinking this the other night - For me when the odds come up Wrexham will be the Fav IMO .

Wrexham for me. Sensible owners who are investing and not interfering.

I want to say us, but the TV show with Wrexham is generating so much money and the owners are willing to put it into the squad, it's only a matter of time before they go up really. I also think the same thing with the Jacks going down but but they probably won't. We've got a shot at the playoffs I think

Wrexham because they will spend to push on for sure that's my guess :bluescarf:

I've gone for us
I think the wheels will start coming off at Wrexham now that they have not made the playoffs
They will spend money but I don't think they have the same pull now and wouldn't be surprised if a couple of their players leave

The jacks are looking at a new sporting director so could be a transition season for them
Especially as their top scorer is likely to be sold this summer

We have a good core of young players who know what the manager expects of them and if he adds 3 decent players to the squad we should be better equipped than Wrexham and Swansea

I do worry though if Lawlor goes we won't get a better replacement but I've heard he wants to stay with BBM at least another season so hopefully he stays

Hard to say until the transfer window closes & it hasn't even opened yet.
