Average 1,644 fans per game - for the 3rd tier that’s excellent

Pretty sure that’s around 800 more on average than them lot down west too

Let’s hope that continues Next Season as many fans reappeared to visit New Grounds.

Really we should take an Average of 2,000 Away Next Season as most grounds will give us more away tickets :bluebird:

Let's just hope it does return, i am sure the interest of games like swans wrexham Bristol etc will bring more fans back

1,648 is an excellent average away support.
No games of return distances of under 200 miles.
Bolton's higher average away support included local games against Wigan & Huddersfield.
Let's hope that away fans increase their numbers next season, with more local games and bigger stadiums.

It's actually really good if you look at that list it's a lot of sell outs and the ones that aren't are long trips that we've played recently in the championship. I'm pretty sure we could have sold a lot out 3 or 4 times over Exeter for example tiny away end we could have probably done 5k down there no problem

I wonder if we could get hold of plymouths ?

Now of course Bolton , Bradford , Huddersfield , Barnsley , Rotherham etc can easily take 2000 either way to various games , bolton to huddersfield or bradford is only an hour etc

But Plymouth have a long trek for most games , they were relegated like us

Be interesting ?

Agreed ....home and away

Last time we played down swansea we were given 1800 tickets and only sold 1300 ...people had enough of all the stupid bubble crap

But this time ......

I'll say what I said on another thread.

We had good away crowds because we were doing well in the league and new grounds for most fans to go to. If we were mid table all season then it would have been a different story.

Hope we get good away crowds next season but that will be dictated by results.

Going back to places like Preston, Blackburn, Stoke etc is not exactly exciting.

100% Sludge, Many started going again because, New Grounds , New Adventures, plus Away Clubs brought big support to us, but they would not if the 2nd season.
Bradford, Bolton , Mansfield, Stockport etc all did but all said it was dreadful the atmosphere etc and probably would not come back

We are not much at home , its usually a poor atmosphere , unless its 24 , 25 k

Need to change the ridiculous segregation

Arsenal , Spurs ......just 15 feet between them

These are my figures which I presented to the travel group at the last SLO meeting ...they are just league games and another fact from.that meeting was that the travel group was responsible for providing transport for 25% of the fans who went away... That's a great effort and probably much better than most clubs...in comparison very few away fans come on coaches to Cardiff.

This season we have taken 196 coaches, some of which have been over 70 seaters, plus a minimum of 22
minibuses (16 seaters) to away league games.
It is estimated that fans that used transport arranged by this travel group were just over 10,000 out of the 39,466
who will have travelled by the end of the season.
25% of all Cardiff City fans who went to away leagues this season travelled on official travel group transport.

It's not a problem buddy ,they are interesting stats and highlight what a great season it was ,even though we had been relegated.Fans enjoyed this season more than many others over the years and it shows with the numbers.
