PAYING?

The whole squad are off to Las Vegas for 4 days:

But the rumour is they are having to ask the Board to pay???

Plus they took 50% wage cuts being relegated and rightly so.

But it’s being said their was NO bonus for players if Promoted ?? but it’s being said strongly??

Not sure I would believe much of that, sounds more like someone adding 2+2 and making it equal 731.

This is what’s been said:

So a little bit of gossip…. There’s been no bonus for any of the players for promotion… this was down to Tan being ‘furious’ about last years relegation…and I may have got it wrong but he can’t even go back on it as things have to be declared that bonus’s are in place?

I presume tax purposes?

But anyway, they’ve had NI bonus…

Next week the players and staff have booked to go to Las Vegas for 4 nights (celebrating promotion) and as there’s no bonus, they’ve players have asked would the board or Tan pay for the trip… as of yesterday still f**k all response from what I’ve been told…. So forget any players in the summer if the fuckers can’t fund a treat for the lads

I doubt the LV part is true, they wouldn't all be going on their own money & then asking for someone else to pay for it & like I said, Wrexham went to LV after their promotion so Cardiff City have to go? Come on!

Perhaps if you'd appointed a proper manager instead of sticking with the incompetent clown Riza until relegation was inevitable maybe you'd have a case for being "furious".

You got lucky this year with a very good manager for which you get no credit whatsoever.

Perhaps they the club should have offered them a holiday, i think if I owned cardiff city after there season ,
I would gave given them a holiday as a bonus for promotion ,do you agree ? Or are you in the camp of they don' t deserve a bonus ?.

They deserve to go out and enjoy themselves after a long but successful season.

Don't think the club should have paid for it but I do think they should have got bonuses.

Not a Tan lover But can’t see why the club should pay for the trip Even without a promotion bonus we are talking about players who earn a considerable amount of money compared to most people who go to support them play
They vast majority are earning more that £250,000 pa

Pretty sure any bonus money has to be declared at the start of the season so if Tan didn’t want to offer a bonus then because he was still mad, he can’t then change his mind.

I don’t think it’s a tax thing, I think it’s part of the rules

Just so you know as you All know I am not a Tan fan or Never will be:

But Tan was right to put in Contracts 50% Wage Reduction if Relegated, But to be so does Every Club.

Plus I would not of given players Bonuses for taking us up.

But as we received and will receive £millions more for going up, those youngsters many on low wages Deserve a small trip paid for them to Celebrate :bluebird:

Captain Callum Chambers could fund the whole thing with a week’s wages. Senior players should club together and sub the youngsters, if they’re insisting on going to LV.

I do think the club should find something less extravagant for them though. Somewhere in Spain/Portugal, maybe a three day golf trip. LV, pay for yourself. Away supporters pay for themselves, and to much less glamorous locations.

I’m not a Tan fan but I agree with him on the bonuses.

Depends on what you call big wages The lowest estimate I can find on Tanner is £4k a week Hardly low if correct The highest I found was £15k a week from his new contract A figure I find hard to believe
Maybe not massive as a football salary but enormous to most people and when I last looked the cost to go to LV is the same for everyone no matter what wage you are on.
I just can’t defend the squad requesting the club to play if it is their choice to go
