That seems like a long time between him passing and the funeral, is that normal there now?

Yes especially if there’s a post mortem.

Yeah it's normal. I work in the funeral industry and funerals can be well over a month after death depending on circumstances.

Thanks for the info guys, sorry to hijack the thread but I have some very personal reasons for asking. Usually takes less than a week over here.
