He might well do but didn't he say he sees his future at Chelsea?

I see myself in the future on a beach - With peace and quiet ... But will that happen ???
The lad needs to take another season out of Chelsea with the squad they have and new manager coming in .
Do you see him getting ahead of - Joao Pedro - Neto - Delap - Estevdo - Garnacho - Gittens - Guiu - ALL spent money on ???

Genuine question for those who know these sort of things but has any player ever come here on loan for 2 seasons back to back?

I didn't say I said it or even thought it so why would you expect me to justify what he said & believes? Did they not (pretend to) spend money on him as well ?

He'll probably go out on loan again and as I have already said I would love to have him come back here but just can't see it happening.

Why do you doubt it so much, out of interest?

We can all agree he won't be playing in the Premier League next season, not ready yet. So it's a loan to the Championship or Strasbourg.

If it's the Championship, then why not us? They'll want him to go somewhere he gets regular playing time.

He knows the manager and Chelsea will know that this manager is happy to trust young players so they may see it as the ideal fit.

My main reasoning is that players don't tend to return to the same club on loan 2 seasons in a row, as I've already said more than once, look how many we've had back after one season or better yet name them all, or any. Plus he said that he sees his future at Chelsea so he may want a change of scenery & want more exposure abroad, even though he seemed to enjoy his time here.

Like I've already said more than once, I would love it if he came back but I don't think he will and I want nothing more than to be wrong. And I get that I seem to be in the minority. Maybe I'm wrong, I await being proved wrong but the only way that will happen is if he comes here on loan next season which is a long way off.

Fair points, sorry I missed when you mentioned that earlier. Haven't read through the entire thread again.

Let's hope a deal can be done but I'd imagine any loans won't even be in pipeline until after clubs have gone back to pre-season, so we're a while off knowing yet.

Div 1 this season - Championship next season another step up for Kellyman and some of our players next season .

Even if both clubs got a loan deal done until Jan next season - might be a good for all parties .
