Vote your Man of the Match v Northampton Town @ the CCS, Sat. 25th April 2026 (KO 3pm)

A good day at the CCS, as the Bluebirds cruise to a 5-1 win against already relegated Northampton Town in League One

From what I saw, I was impressed with the focus, intensity, and commitment to get the ball moving from the Bluebirds and two early goals certainly helped the atmosphere

Some very good performances out there today and I’ve gone for Ollie Tanner for some great runs and two goals; one of which was a beaut! :ayatollah:

LATEST SCORE: CARDIFF CITY 5 - 1 NORTHAMPTON TOWN (42 mins)
Bluebird scorers: Ollie Tanner (9 mins); Joel Colwill (19 mins); Callum Robinson (37 mins); Yousef Salech, 85 mins

I voted for Robinson.

Never stopped working hard, was unselfish for the 5th goal and got one himself. Looked in the stadium that the first goal he scored should have stood, but haven't seen a replay to be fair.

Maybe I'm also being sentimental because that was probably his last home game for us.

Yes it should have, the keeper was "fouled" by his own player & fell over so the ref disallowed the goal & gave the keeper a free kick.

Thanks, I was at the other end of the ground so couldn't see it that clearly but could tell by the reaction of some at that end that it was a debatable decision.

Even the cobblers reporters today say thier keeper was lucky as he brought it down hit a head and dropped it.

Tanner has been so close to scoring in recent weeks so it is good that things worked out for him on Saturday.
