If we win and Stockport win today there are 12 points between us. Stockport have 4 games left, us 3. If we lose the remaining 3 and they win the remaining 4 it leaves us on the same points but we have a much better goal difference so would go up.
Is my maths right, or have missed something

For the most part you're right. Goal difference could swing though, imagine if we lost 4-0 & Stockport won 4-0, that's an 8 goal swing in goal difference. Not that it matters too much as we'll only need 1 point from 3 games if we both win today.

Yes, because eventually it would go down to goal difference. If my maths is right, we are on plus 35 goal difference and Stockport plus 12. They would have to score a lot of goals
