Fish a bit unlucky to be dropped.

Needs to be a better performance than Tuesday but let's do this :thumbright:

Stop PAMPERING Salech, or is he now second back up striker?

Big fan of Rubin but I'm shocked he's not being rested after Tuesday

he looked very tired and I thought he would get a rest today but hopefully he's fitter than he looked Tuesday

Promotion is on the line and the stakes don’t get much bigger than this.

Cardiff City arrive at the Select Car Leasing Stadium knowing victory over Reading could seal their return to the Championship – and they’ll take confidence from a formidable run on the road. The Bluebirds have been one of the most consistent away sides in League One in 2026, losing just once and scoring in each of their last 15 league games on their travels – a run they’ve never bettered in the Football League.

But this is far from a straightforward assignment. Reading have proven a tough nut to crack on home soil in this fixture, losing just one of their last eight against Cardiff here, and they edged this very clash 2-1 the last time it was played back in August 2022. The Royals do come into this one on the back of successive defeats, though, and will be desperate to avoid a third straight loss.

Cardiff, meanwhile, already have one win over Reading this season and know a victory today would secure a first league double over the Royals since 2011-12 – and potentially something far more significant.

It’s all set up for a huge afternoon in Berkshire. Stay with us for live updates, build-up, team news and all the action as it unfolds.

Total agree. Joel what has he done? Those 2 come on and we get a draw in the week.

Confused why Joel isn't starting games to be honest.

But no point risking Salech from the start when we have other games to sort promotion if it doesn't happen today.

I can understand Salech to a point - but as you say Joel is not right. Midfield is too slow
