Only four games now and the season is over.
Most of us expect promotion to be secured on Saturday and if not then, Wednesday.
But regardless of that, have you enjoyed this season in League One?
BBM was asked this today and he said "I've had the time of my life".
Personally I have enjoyed it. Didn't think I would but it's been nice to play some different teams. Obviously it helps that we've been in the top two pretty much all season.
Glad that we'll be heading back to the Championship obviously but playing the likes of Stoke, Blackburn and Preston doesn't excite me.
All in all, an enjoyable season and probably the most enjoyable for a long time.
Kept the poll as a simple yes or no to simplify it.

It's been the best season for many years. BBM has been fantastic, introducing a new style of football which has been very exciting to watch. Yes there's been games where the opposition has parked the bus and made it difficult for us to play the BBM way but overall it's been great.
BBM, his coaches and the players deserve a huge crowd for our remaining home games and hopefully a huge celebration coming up.
Well done BBM

Yes and no, manager, fans and players, fine but always get downer when I realise VT still owns the club, hate the poisoness tw*t.

Its been very enjoyable but I won't miss League One

The Championship is the best league (Premier League included). Teams go at each other, refs are slightly better and no VAR.
Rotherham away is a particular highlight for me, had a great day!

It’s been great

Who the hell were the 2 who voted no ??

56 seasons of watching City and it's a Yes from me on the pitch, with usual concerns with the ownership off the pitch. Renewed for another season anyway.

Absolutely loved it , done more away games this year than since the height of the valley rams , it's been like one big party and im gutted it's nearly over

Most enjoyable season for years, we have played some good football where our players have looked so comfortable on the ball. We also managed to integrate some of our best young talent into the first team. Albeit we have played in League one, but I am sure every single one of us would gladly have taken how our season has panned out!

Thank goodness Ned simplified the question!

Yes is my reply!
We don’t get too many seasons where we are ‘
successful’, and adding our youth to the mix has been a revelation from BBM (not Tan)!

Yes very much, had some good away days, seen plenty of goals,I honestly did not think we would be up near the top of the table before the season started, the manager and the players have done us proud.thank you.

Yes, but frustrating at times

plus it's not over yet

Yes but lets continue with a mindset that promotion is not secured yet.
Port Vale fighting for their lives and won tonight at Peterborough 3-1.
Lets not get complacent.

Dalman & Choo!

Yes absolutely
I actually expected a very tough campaign and predicted play off perhaps
We had zero momentum , no clear direction and the likelihood no money for players
BBM has done a superb job and many of our young players have stepped up
Lawlor, Joel Colwill, Ashford, Bagan, all done really well playing week in ,week out in a physical league

Yes for the first time in years

Seriously people still worried about us not finishing 2nd? Unbelievable.

Yes superb, I wrongly doubted the appointment of BBM, but he's done an amazing job
Well done, everyone at the club and fans, what a great season
Fri Apr 17, 2026 11:34 am
Apart from the Plymouth away game absolutely.
The only good thing about that day was it took me 8 minutes to get home and kick the dog

The same people who give the ref 10/10 every week no doubt.

Definite yes from me. It's been so nice seeing us dominate games again and look so strong. There haven't been many games this season where I've not felt confident about winning. It's just been great after the few seasons prior to it.
Highlights for me was the Wrexham game in the cup and 2 home games over Xmas (against Wigan and Exeter I think) where I've never witnessed CCFC absolutely boss a game like they did in nearly 30+ years of following them.
I was hoping for a good reset but I think its been a great reset. The problem now is that we have a fantastic chance to really kick on but we all know who's shoulders that rests on.
BBM has been a breath of fresh air. He's smashed his first proper full time head coach appointment. Yes hes been working with the best squad in the division but it was a squad completely shot of confidence (and any sort of pride/togetherness). The turnaround has been brilliant.
Got to get 1 frustration in there though and that is, although I understand our game is based on possesion football and wearing down the opposition, I'll never understand our players not shooting when a genuine chance is on, just never (especially when not in a winning position)...but based on this season, who gives a f$%k coz the Bluebirds are going up!!!

Never take f*ck all for granted is all I'd say.

I've loved this season! I am an American with Welsh ancestry and this past year, I was looking for a soccer team to back. I figured I should back a Welsh team given my roots and decided Cardiff City would be my team. I've had a lot of fun following the team and seeing them have as much success as they've had. Just gotta hope they finish things out strong and get that automatic promotion.

Remarkable transformation of playing style in such a short period of time, as good as I can remember.
Roll on next season and let's hope the clowns at the top support BBM in his plans

It's a Yes from Me
