In all honesty i thought we would be lower than that.

Sorry but what's the point of this?

The only table that matters is the current league 1 table, which the last time I looked showed us in second place, a auto promotion place by the way, on 78 points, 7 points clear of third with a game in hand.

That's the only table any of us should be taking notice of, and take pride in.

Getting a little hacked off with all the negative vibes on this board lately.

We have lost 8 league games out of 40 so far, that's a tremendous achievement to be unbeaten in 32 of those games.

We need 8 points from 18 on offer, in all probability less than that.

Time to acknowledge how well we have done over the course of the season as a whole.

It's all gone a bit pear-shaped since we lost to Plymouth in February.
2 wins, 3 draws and 3 defeats.
Very mid table form.
Just as well we were flying high prior to this current run of matches as promotion would have been in doubt!

Inclined to agree with you. Got a young group of players who need our backing home and away more than ever right now.

I'm always more than happy to call things out when I think people are being overly negative.

But to be honest, I don't see this as a negative post. It's just a stat.

I actually don't think it makes bad reading for us. We picked up so many points in the first half of the season so that since January we can rank 5th in the league and still get promoted.

Bolton are the only one of the chasing pack that have more points than us since January and that's only two points. The rest have less, including our nearest challengers Bradford.

Goes further to explain why we are getting promoted (in my opinion).

Lincoln's form is incredible but we're only five points off Plymouth, who people have said have been flying since January.

So for me, I can find several positives out of this.
