Ahead of Bolton’s return to the Welsh capital on Saturday afternoon, Nathan Trott spoke to the press at CCS.
Reflecting on Saturday's draw away from home against Peterborough United, the City shotstopper discussed the squad's desire to push on whilst maintaining focus on their own performances.

“I know how good we are and how good we’ve been all season," Nathan began. "So to leave with a point was a bit frustrating but at the end of the day going away and getting a point is not the worst situation ever.

"I think we can push on from there and continue to play how we have, taking our chances.

“It’s a credit to us and how good we’ve been this season that the last few results haven’t been the best but ultimately, we’re still in a very strong position to get promoted.

“For our standards we could have been a little bit more critical of ourselves, but overall I think that the way this season has been it’s been really positive.

“The main thing is to keep the focus on ourselves. That’s what we’ve been doing since the first week of the season, so why change now?”

Did anyone attend a postponed City match at Burnden Park, in the 1970's ?
It was a Boxing Day fixture that was called off due to fog, I think ?
Cannot remember the exact year, but travelled up to Bolton via Manchester, which seemed a massive city.
Remember getting chased by Manchester City fans who tried to nick our scarfs.
Didn't go to the re-arranged fixture as was still at school.

Not sure about a Boxing Day postponed fixture v Bolton W, but there was a postponed away game v Bolton, on the 19th March, 1977. I think it was called off due to bad weather, on the day, with many hundreds of City fans on route at the time.
Many City fans ended up watching Rochdale v Workington, and supporting Workington, who eventually won the game,,,, the Workington players applauding the City fans after the game... True story.

I went to a game in Bolton in the 70's that was called off due to a frozen pitch if my memory serves me right. I drove up from Ystrad Mynach with a mate who was a Bolton fan. We got to the ground and he got us into one of the bars at Burnden Park and just after we bought a round somebody came in and announced the game was off - we finished our drinks and drove straight back to Ystrad! Lol
