I can remember but vaguely,as I was 10, my uncle used to take me, in Canton stand, main thing I remember from then was our keeper Fred Davies, and his little shimmy before taking goal kicks!

I might be wrong but I thought Jim Eadie was our keeper that night. Whatever- it was a great night and we could have won the tie overall had Alan Warboys been eligible, because he was on fire at the time. He scored 4 in 40 minutes against Carlisle a couple of weeks before that game.
