There were so many claiming we would be lucky if we got into the top 10 let alone playoffs, and all kinds of miracles would need to happen to finish top 2, yet here we are, in a strong position to get it over the line.

Second highest scorers in the league, let’s not pretend we are entitled and expect to be in the championship on name alone. We didn’t massively invest like the two teams up last year did, yet we’ve pulled the squad together and got to here.

We have been free flowing in games, dominant in others and there’s only a few we’ve lost where it felt like we were simply outplayed. We have struggled the last clutch of games, with a limited front line if a team played a low block we are stumped. With Salech it created gaps earlier in the season, not an easy player to replace on a shoe string budget I imagine.

Birmingham took no chances, got promoted and took their foot off the gas. Wrexham ride a wave of income and invested massively, but I don’t think it was a promotion push, and if they don’t make it, it’ll just make the band wagon go faster and next season they’ll invest even more.

Yes a nasty injury to Salech our top goal scorer cost us, we will still go up though, so overall it will be a great season and we have learned our weak spots and where we need a few more players.

This revisionist stuff about a striker again. We were really hot for a long long spell after Salech got injured. There are clearly other reasons we've lost form

Exactly. But can't get through a day on here without someone saying "we should have signed a striker".

4 will be enough particularly if we don't lose to Bolton 4 points next 2 games gives us 82 pnts ...Bolton would need to beat us then still need to win all games left Inc Bradford... Bradford need win all games aswell.... yes hypothetically we may need 8pnts but unless people think either Bolton or Bradford can win every game obviously one can't as play each other 4 points will do thanks to our goal difference..... Bradford realistically only ones who can catch us in this scenario. But they won't
