City defender Calum Chambers previewed Monday’s clash against Peterborough United by speaking to the press.
Calum Chambers :
“They've done well," Calum began. "It's not going to be an easy place to go; it's never easy going away in any league.
“It all comes with different challenges. So much has changed since the first game when we played them, for us and for them.
"I'm excited to see where we're at when you compare the two games together. We're all looking forward to it.
“It’s all about consistency, and that’s what we want to show. We want to win every game. As players, that's what we aim to do.”
He continued: “It’s been a really enjoyable season. As a whole, it’s been a great experience and a positive year in my first year as club captain.
“From the start of the season to where we are now, it’s been a bit of a journey. We’ve had to face different opponents and how they face up against us.
“I’m embracing it, being in the moment and enjoying how we’re doing. I think what we’ve done this year has been really good, and there’s still some way to go but I’m enjoying every single game.
“For us, it’s just about focusing on ourselves, on how we can put in the best performance into each game and trying to win the next game that’s coming.
“He [Brian] wants me to lead by example through who I am. I train hard every day and have done throughout my whole career. I put in 100% effort every day. I’m just being me.“
