Who might be buying the club?

Wed Apr 01, 2026 9:55 pm

Over the last few months and again in light of this weeks events I have seen various posters mention that there are still interested parties willing to buy the club again this summer.

So in the faint chance of Tan now deciding to cut his losses after losing the latest Nantes court case but our value going back up as a championship club (if we get promoted that is - sorry when we get promoted)

Who are the interested parties ? Is it the South African one ? Is it the Gareth Bale one ? Is there another one ?

Or are people just vainly hoping and making unproven comments/guesses.

Apparently Gareth Bale spoke about his interest recently when he appeared on the overlap show with Gary Neville and co. I Havnt seen the episode myself, just heard people talk about it.

Yes Annis I have asked it once previously, the second message the context was about not trusting Dalman.

I have asked the question as it has been mentioned on one of your threads again in the last couple of days and also in another post recently.

I like you, cannot wait for the clown to go, that’s why I ask.

When we get promoted, if he is still here come the new season then we will not be buying anyone of any quality as he will not back BBM.

We were lucky that we got BBM, because he has worked wonders with the younger players, however you look at it BBM was not our first choice, I think he is a quality manager that will keep this squad in the championship easily.

But my concern is that if Tan sells our assets, Lawler, Rubin, Kpakio and maybe more, if we dont replace like for like then BBM is not working with the same squad.

If he sells we probably wont sell those assets, and hopefully will have money to improve.

It’s another 5 days before we play again, so why not ask the question?

We have 3 or 4 posts that are stickies on how the idiot has predictably lost another court case, when 1 will do, I’m just trying to find out if there is any news out there as like i said it has been mentioned by others recently, its not a criticism more blind hope that someone has heard something.

I don’t know whether an existing or fresh bidder will come to the fore this summer but one thing you can rest assured about is that if Annis or anyone else on this Forum has any information on anything even remotely genuine, you will see it on here at as soon as anything is known!

Personally, after last summer’s big let down, I wouldn’t be too confident of a sale, as the owner tries to work out his next options after the FC Nantes decision and he may well think he can get us back to the Premier League next season with BBM and his youngsters! I know Dalman would want him to stay and try, as it keeps him on the personal gravy train!

In the meantime, have a little patience, please! You’ve been here long enough to know information is put out quickly and in good faith! :ayatollah:
