I have never seen 2 subs make as little impact on a game as Cullen and Harris did last night.
Cullen was totally anonymous apart from giving away a needless corner from which Bosnia scored and then missed a glorious chance to win the game.
Harris just ran around like a headless chicken, and one time Dan James had a shot that the keeper pushed across goal in front of him and he just jogged into the net instead of going after the ball allowing a defender to get the ball and clear it, the other time a cross from Thomas was headed back across goal and all Harris had to do was dive forward to head in an empty net.
Don't get why Harris was put on when he hardly plays for Oxford, when Broadhead was on on the bench and quite regularly scores for Wrexham, and he has scored before for Wales, whereas Harris hasn't scored for Wales apart from the penalty last night, which was probably one of the worst penalties I have ever seen, I don't know what their keeper was doing to have let it in.

I would off liked to see Joel Colwill subbed on to add more creativity in midfield and for fresh legs because the players were tired and fatigued 20 minute at the end of th 90 minutes.
I think Lawlor was solid at the back with rodon.

Something else I realised this morning was we only made 3 out of the alloted 6. Surely with penalties looming throwing someone like Broadhead on would of been beneficial as an attacker who may of taken a penalty with fresh legs and all that. Unless some players were carrying knocks I don't understand why more changes weren't made

Yeah I was surprised that we didn't make more subs, but if I'm not mistaken I think Bellamy in the past qualifying games hasn't used the full amount of subs allowed, but I really would have thought that Broadhead was more likely to score than Harris, we've seen enough of him in a City shirt to know he's not prolific, he's never scored for Wales yet, whereas Broadhead has. Bellamy did surprise me a bit last night, with some players not playing regularly for their clubs maybe fresh legs should have been used.

Harris was a waste of space last night. He just didn’t seem interested at all. I was screaming when he didn’t chase down that ball in their box!! He would have easily made that and could have squared it back in with 1 defender there. Even Wilson was screaming at him! Hope he doesn’t put on the Welsh shirt ever again. Cullen was shocking also.

I agree Bellamy f.cked up the subs good and proper broadhead and both coleill brothers would surely have made a better impact Bellamy will not like been told he got it wrong.

We suferd from the, same problem as City
No height to defend corners
At least Harris took a decent penalty
What followed a parks keeper would have, saved

Joel would have bust a gut last night! Perfect player to come on late in the game! And like you said, broadhead in front of Harris every single day of the week!

Oh they made an impact, an impact that meant we are supporting whoever England play in the summer.

The original post probably wanted to start a debate, they have. Dan James was outstanding last night, he should have stayed on even if he was dying on the ground like the Bosnian players were. We should have progressed last night. Mark Harris is a target primarily from his time with us, it's not his fault that he is not actually that great at WC Internional football. Cullen zero comment, he again looked way out of his league. Lots of positives from last night but another generation of talent eg Harry Wilson will miss displaying their talent on the world stage.
